McDowell & Associates owns, operates and maintains 9 drill rigs for every type of job as well as all associated equipment. This provides a much higher level of control for all environmental samples, faster turn-around time and the ability to respond to changing field conditions. The drilling group consists of 10 full-time employees and is one of the most experienced in the state.

Our 5 Drilling Crew Chiefs have over 125 years combined experience and have completed over 12,000 subsurface investigations in the past 22 years. All Drilling Crew personnel are trained in soil classification, logging the borehole and are HAZWOPER certified.

McDowell & Associates maintains a computerized index of every boring made since 1978 allowing ready access to a wealth of subsurface information.
